Today , after years of believing the Christ was the Lord of Love, I realized that belief is not wholly the Truth.
Christ was the worlds first example of how we should love, however the essence of His Being was TRUTH.
I have seen ,as well as heard, so many people mouth the words" I love you", when indeed, I knew they did not. Many say that word, with no real adherance to its real meaning. Haven't you heard that word in a shopping mall, when someone see's something they want? Or even worse a person in an abusive relationship, say after being taken to a hospital ,after being beaten..but I love him. Can this be the Love Christ was bringing to us , by example? I think not! Again, there is never any love, if there is never Truth.
Love sometimes can be seen in moments of enthusiasim, joy, glee, etc..these , like the branches of a tree, are offshoots of the constant we know as love. Love is the parent of all the positive feelings we experience, and it is behind all our feelings of joy, no matter what triggers those feelings..However not even joy, is truly Love, it is only a momentary expression...UNLESS someone is Living in the consistant state of Love. As the Christ Himself.
If one was living in that state, wouldn't everything be seen as Love in action? And would that be wholly the Truth?
Didnt Christ see the untruths of those around Him? Dosent an untruth in any relationship, deny the other the
very essence of what we all seek? Do we truly seek Love or do we seek the Truth of Love? We need no other ,to feel joy. We dont even need another to feel Love. For if we truly have the Love of God within us, we truly have no need for any other Comforter. So let me ask this question? If we have God in us as our source of Love..
what would we be seeking? Would it be the same for us all?
I believe there is no Love, no real Love, without the Creators essence , which is seen as TRUTH.
Christ never once referred to Himself with the word Love..For that is what He had becuase He had His Father within Him. He reffered to Himself as the Way, the Truth and the Life...The road to Love, is through Truth, it is only then, can One experience ...The Life of God.
Ask yourself, can any relationship be real without being based in Truth? So the Love we all seek, can never be gotten, without Truth, being it's founder. We can never feel the real Love of Life, without Truth leading the way..
Not knowledge or science or anything that will define the Earth, but instead, the Truth of Our Being. How will we know the Truth of our Being? WHen we begin to speak only the Truth to all who we see.
Is ones opinion the Truth, yes and no , it is indeed one mans personal truth. Is that the Truth of his Being? It is more the ego's expression of his being. His Being cares nothing of opinions, it only cares to see ITS TRUTH Revealed. It cares nothing for being right, yet it cares deeply about loving rightly. It cares nothing of politics but care more about principled politics. It cares nothing of what we do, yet cares deeply about our intentions.
It asks us to be charitable towards others, only if we treat those close to us, charitably. It asks us to make no commitment, without the complete commitment of ones heart and soul . It asks us to treat all, as if they were born from the same womb. It seeks understanding becuase it seeks the Truth, not for self agrandisement, but for the sake of Truth itself. If you truly wish to understand what True Love is, first be True to all things, and then Love will indeed follow. For the Love of Christ only comes when Complete Truth lives within us...For He can never Live in, or where, a lie exists!
