There was a time when I believed the main thing in life was the pursuit of my happiness.
After all isnt that what this country is all about? We are now being told from TV Gurus and Eastern Philosophers, that the path to our own happiness is better than the Way of Christ.
Christ never told us to forgo Happiness for Him , and no happiness is truly of any value if it doesnt lead us to His Character. True joy only comes when a man truly lives a life of truth!
Of course people need to know happiness in order to know the joy of God, however sometimes in seeking that path we forget our real purpose. The pursuit of happiness is what our Country allows, however our country allows for things that cause harm towards others..such as greed, self agrandizment, and more!
To fulfill oneself by feeding oneself only Joy will indeed lead you to your God. However it also will lead you to forgo principles and values, that only the True Soul could not live without!
So here we go again, seeking a better way to happiness, in the feel good policy of making everything we do right!
Our soul does have a plan, and when we see only Good, we see God. However when we only see Good, we also can be tricked into believing that all are feeling and living that same way!
This is known as blinded by love's light, and only in facing the Truth shall we know the difference!
Better to seek your Happiness through Truth, then seek you happiness, leaving Truth behind!
