And still is, if it is seen as not being "against' something. Anytime we need to separate, to be seen as being in the right, we can know then, that we are in the wrong.
I loved that song, becuase it confirmed to me, that I didnt need to place my soul in any religious ideology. I needed to see that , so I could see Christ outside of any particualr orthodox religion. However, I never saw it as a battle cry to separate believers from non believers. Christ is not a religion, He is a Living Principle, a Character of Being. He is Our Planetary Higher Self.
Many believe in Him, but feel they need not live His Life. Many say they want to live His principles, but instead hate or dislike those who dont think or believe as them? Is that the Christ Consciousness He asked us to probagate? I think not! What I see now, in those who wish to promote "no religion" is a sense of superiority, that often happens to even those "SP's" who make the new train of thought a distorted religion.
The very thing they hate in what they see in those who love God and Country, is the very thing they become. Fanatics! If you dont have a "one" mind. You are children of a lesser God. How unfortunate that when it comes to living the principles of Christ, the first thing that has to be removed is the Christ Himself.
Is it better to do good for those in the world, by those who believe they know better than you? Or are we all purposeful, even those who cling to their religion? After all had not many clung to the idea of a Christ Consiousness, where would our understanding of Love , begun?
Are we under the impression, that the source of Gods love for Humanity came from another source? The Christ has lived as the Planetary Hope for all Time. Christ, not anyother, not Zoraster, or Buddha or even Abraham, did what only He could have done. Some make Him an icon, lessening His Power and His Place in the world. However , no imagination can disspell the Powerful Love only He has placed in every heart. When we wish to do GOOD for ourself or Others, we are only half way there. If however we do that Good becuase we believe we should love others as we love ourselves, we are infact doing His work. But make no mistake, if we hate others, or think we are superior to those with whom we wish to bring change, we are playing a game of self deception.
Christ never suggested the government be the worlds salvation. It was the firm belief in Him only where the Souls salvation lies. To think that someone else is His replacement, is deception at its worst.
The only way we can see Christ is in things that express the eternal. He never expresses, the temporal!
