As I sat thinking about why so many claim to believe in God, yet don’t truly imitate Him, I realized it’s because they must believe, in an outside God. Yes, God exists everywhere. One can indeed pray to a God who lives somewhere above them. However, with that belief also comes, an unrelateable unprotected distance. To truly feel protected one can't rely on a God, who seems distant. Distance itself leaves ones being feeling vulnerable. This feeling is papable to many who have felt their Godly connection. They know they have temporarily lost their connection, when they begin to experience unhappiness. All the prayers in the world, somehow don’t close that gap. However the conscious understaning of what makes us unhappy is the beginning of our reconnect.
The erroneous part of man's bodily Nature keeps us focused on filling the void, with things. Food, clothes, toys etc, as the temporal satisfactions we seek. They are all wonderful play things, but they will only satisfy us temporaraly, They only become meaningful to our spirit when we acknowledge where they come from. With thankfulness to God, they then become both materially and spiritually purposeful. It is this remembering and acknowledgement that begins the creational connection we need to connect with our God- Soul.
In a world that prides itself in being "busy", to find the time to open up to ones God, seems almost an impossibility. So to being being secure and happy in ones own life, begins with the conscience awareness of our Highest Being, who's based in the confidence of our Heart. It is this firm rock of confidence, or true faith, that will keep us secure and happy. For this to become reality, a constant acknowledgement of God is needed in our lives. Not the off-handed verbiage of "Oh thank God". But rather, the thoughtful acknowledgement of a heart that is constantly grateful.
True Self confidence comes only from being aware of our connection to "the Self". The Self after all, is your Soul.
This Soul is the same for everyone. In fact all religions were developed as mans expression of his perception of his God.. So to blame any religion for the miss deeds of man is ignorant. If any man was truly living his true Godly connection, what misdeeds could he ever have? Religion is mans expression to his Higher Self. Not his perfection of such. It is used to help him on his journey toward understaning his real connection. It can help him find his purpose, which ultimately, is to love himself and others, in the same way he loves his God.
To know ones Soul, or the God within, takes a constant conscious effort, and a faithful intent. Christmas is not one day in December. That feeling of happiness should be an everyday event. Your birthday is everyday. With this understanding one should consciously make everyday count. Making the time frame of connecting to God, a daily experience, rather than a lifelong journey. To connect to your Truth lives in the time frame of NOW!.
What will the living God being active in your heart and mind, do? Having the Living God, actually living within you, will leave you without fear. Your body may still react to a loud noise, but you will never feel threatened. For your mind and heart will be living in the confidence of your Soul. True confidence is not constructed out of the egos bravado. Rather, it is the iron will, that comes only with the awareness of the Truth. The Truth, that Souly lives with in, and for, the Christ.
Your faith, when rooted in the unwavering Truth of the Eternal Life, can never be fearful. However, you will always be fearful, when your confidence is rooted in an falsely inflated ego. What one needs to know, is the difference. Confidence that comes from survivial in the world, is very different than what comes from your faith in God. . Words of faith mean little, if they are empty from the true gratefulness of God. When we are unaware of our true purpose, gratitude is the furtherst thought in our mind-heart. Real security and its establisher confidence, comes only from ones faith in God- Christ., and the gratetude for our daily blessings. The body of Christ when connected to its SOul, is purposefullt grateful.
The only way to fearlessness, is to be rooted in the Consiousness of the Christ. With this understanding , the only way to the Heart of God, is through the constant acknowledgment of Gratitude.
