What's in a Word?

July 10, 2009

In todays world, statements are made  , sometimes deliberately, to promote misconceptions and untruths.

Here is but one example: "Self-actualizers are somehow both mature and childlike" This statement is true, however it was followed by; They manifest ‘healthy childishness’ and ‘a second naiveté,’" said one Abraham Maslow.

His statement was made about Micheal Jackson, in Jacksons support.  I suppose he was using it in defense of Michaels "wacko" misleading personality. He used the word Self-actualized and tried to appy it to MJ.

A Self actualize person, indeed can be childlike, but never childish . Also , they can be naive, but not unaware.

A Self-actualized person, is at first, very responsible for all their actions. They would be overcareful rather than reckless (hanging a baby over a balcony) would never be the action of Self-actualization. It was that act, that told me, he wasnt who he said he was. And he duped many with his "We are the World" view. Those who are expressing the Soul, are never selfish, but Self aware. Something Micheal Jackson was not. He was germ phobic, fearful, and had a poor,  self loathing, body image.

What MJ was , was a great entertainer, an excuse filled self delusioned man. Someone God would love, but someone who had little understanding of His Self.

Why Christians see Marriage as Sacred

June 15, 2009

As a Christian, I have been unhappy with the arguments given regarding gays who wish to marry. So, after looking up the meaning of the word marriage, I came to see, that according to its definition, the word “marriage”, has little to do with anything spiritual.

And as a Christian, my spiritual understanding takes precedent.

Who would ever have thought, that in today’s world, the word “marriage” would be seen as controversial? When one looks up its meaning, you will find it applies more to possession and chattels, than anything else. Nowhere, is there an adjective under that meaning, which includes the word love? So, whether gay, or straight, I believe, neither would be fighting for its use, if they knew fully, it’s meaning. So, as Tina Turner once sang, “What’s love got to do with it?” According to Roget’s Thesaurus, nothing!  This fought over word, has nothing to do with love!

You can be gay and be in love, as well as being straight and be in love. But as we just learned, the defined word, has nothing to do with love! So that means you can love and not be married, that’s...

Real Faith Comes Only with an Inside God

June 9, 2009

As I sat thinking about why so many claim to believe in God, yet don’t truly imitate Him, I realized it’s because they must  believe, in an outside God. Yes, God exists everywhere. One can indeed pray to a God who lives somewhere above them. However, with that belief also comes, an unrelateable unprotected distance. To truly feel protected one can't rely on a God, who seems  distant. Distance itself leaves ones being feeling vulnerable.  This  feeling is papable to many who have felt their Godly connection. They know they have temporarily lost their connection, when they begin to experience unhappiness. All the prayers in the world, somehow don’t close that gap. However the conscious  understaning of  what makes us unhappy is the beginning of our reconnect.

The erroneous part of man's bodily Nature keeps us focused on filling the void, with things. Food, clothes, toys etc, as the temporal satisfactions we seek. They are all wonderful play things, but they will only satisfy us temporaraly, They only become meaningful to our spirit when we acknowledge where they come from. With  thankfulness to God, they then become both materially and spiritually purposeful. It is this remembering and acknowledgement  that begins...

What is so hard about supporting Life?

May 11, 2009

One of the  Presidents' first directives in his first 100days, was to allow even the most late term abortions to recieve the ok; along with the very many left leaning folks in support of the same, I cant understand whats so hard about supporting life? I suppose Michelle Obama, didnt feel the joy, at the first moment that she felt or found out that she had concieved a life? I suppose, that feeling of carrying a life, wasnt one of her greatest feelings?

I remember the moment, the event the following days with such wonder and anxiety that I could never have forgotten it. I believe that moment of wonder, had nothing at all to do with the person who was the father, but more to the wonder of the miracle itself. It had nothing to do with my circumstances, as it did to the miracle that was taking place within me. The thoughts of  lack were so overshadowed by the foward looking adventure of a little life growing inside me, that nothing would have allowed me to distroy what I believed was given me.

From that moment of understanding, I knew that we were one. That in some ways,...

How to recognize the Christ

March 12, 2009

For all those who thought President Obama was the second coming of Christ, and  Global warming was the worse thing to happen to us since the Depression... welcome to our lack of understanding and faith!

For some in America, this recent financial crisis is the apocalyse, that had been predicted. The beginning of the second coming of the Christ. What many have forgotten was ; that the hero who was chosen to save the world, has always been here, He never left, He is the one who saved our souls, and it is only He we should turn to, when we need confidence and trust. His truth will always be the rock we can stand upon, and the trust that is always guaranteed.

Where we have lost it, is, that we have made Government =God.

Having tired with finger pointed and blame, we looked to a savior to unite us. Someone who could soothe the troubled waters and help us regain our trust. When we place our trust in the world, in the material, we can sometimes forget that we are the co-creators of the worlds reality. If we see Obama as our material savior, we forget who and what is the real salvation. Obama maybe americas...

So Now We Know

February 6, 2009

Hope Fear and No Sign of The Christ!

As the world gave over the idea of the REAL Christ to Mr Obama, we now find out, that he is indeed not the Second Coming! In fact what came instead, was the end of the world as we knew it to be. Something far less lofty  came in its place. The real Truth of our being, has  been given over to the stimulus of Fear over the Hope that was promised. Hope itself usually isnt neccessary unless despair is eminent. And we have displaced our God, with Fear, we have displaced our Hope with a call for finacial statbility. ...to be continued

Intellegence, the Worlds Perspective

January 10, 2009

"Oh, how smart he is!" Might be the most important words a young parent can  hear about their own child. Those words alone begin to place that little soul, in a category seen by the world as the most coveted. After all intelligence is the mark of the beast, so why wouldn't the world love it! The world loves the debate, the investigations, the proof, the praise of being right, the analysis, and all that is called upon to be seen as being "the intelligentsia". With that, the world seems to take on a very different role, it raises us up to "kingship", to being a part of a select crowd, those who are in, those in the know!

Why then, should I then seek to destroy the world? I truly dont wish to destroy the worlds need to be needed, I instead, wish to give life to what is truly so much more important . The will of God.

If we could imagine for a moment, what the world would be like, if we could live just from our heart? If the world didn't place as much importance on being right. than doing what is right.  And what of intellect?  It should not be abolished but instead it should use its heart in the process. The problem with...

Are You Scared Yet?

January 9, 2009

Aren't you amazed that the very people who told us that we should not fear Al Queida are now spreading a new fear of their own...our disasterous economy. They making a not good molehood recession , into a mountian of depression. Havent we ever heard of what is called a self fullilling prophecy?

I for one will never look to the government for my security, that would be reling on man. I prefer to place my trust in something Greater than myself, my God.

Will Mr Obama be the instrument of Gods handy work, or is Mr Barack Huesien Obama the tool to finish what was started in the curse of the Middle East? After all werent we told that it the curse of our enemies to distroy our fundamental economy? Wasnt that the reason they hit the Twin Towers, the symbol of the Worlds Economy? Well havent they suceeded?

We are now being fed the fears of our financial demise, the end of capitolism!  Where should we stand, once we know this? Should we defend Ceasar, or Christ? And what has brought us to this moment?

We were soaring heavenward, when we realized that what we had placed our trust in , was less in God, then in  mammon. And we will...

The Flasehood of the World

December 19, 2008

Or how we chose to decieve ourselves..... Is the theme of this writing. Although many choose to decieve themselves through separation, in causes, rights or beliefs, the real truth is, that we already know the truth.

We all know when out of fear of rejection, or fear of loss of something we have little faith in, we choose to take the cover-up of a lie, than to be forthright in speaking the Truth. Somepeople believe that telling the truth is telling another what you believe is right for them. That is not the Truth, thats called an opinion, based upon your own beliefs and disquises.

The real Truth is an eternal One. It can only be defined in the form of living ones most ethical life. That is, having core principles of which you will not deviate from, for no one and no body. And those core principles lodged in and for an ethical behavior, having nothing to do with others, other than your Self.

Can an athetist have these same core values, even if He denounces the belief in a God? Only if this same atheist isnt out trying to promote his ideas as a given right. When it comes to ethics ,...

The Planetary Christ..the Heart and Soul of man, and his need to exist

December 11, 2008

All men long for acceptance, understanding, and respect , few recognize that as Love. From Christs perspective there is nothing but love, expressed in the purposeful good of all beings. That Purposeful good, is seen as awareness of Self. Mans longing for perfect acceptance and understanding can only be reached when he seeks to fill his unhappiness, not with the temporary, but instead with the everlasting.

Although there are many gods sought and prayed to, only One offers everlasting Love. Only One realized the fullfillment of man and God, and transcended both realms to offer Himself for the Love of others. There is no other God, who laid down is life for the Life of our Planetary Soul.

We all seek what Christ has to offer, only our misconception will always be, that in our search for acceptance, we then need to pass through the duality of our mind. It is in that transition that religion is born. Religion is the expression that is personalized by man to seek his best expression or likeness to his God. The reason for so many religions, is the same reason for why most people seek the need to be "right". With religion, it is the "right fit" for that personal understanding of ones owns need to...
